Frequently asked questions
Does it require an internet connection?
No. SolvTechATT talks directly to your ZKTeco device over your local WiFi network. All data is stored on the phone — no internet connection is needed to use the app day-to-day.
Does it support Arabic?
Yes. The entire app is fully bilingual with proper right-to-left layout in Arabic, and follows your phone's system language automatically.
Can I use my existing ZKTeco devices?
Yes, as long as they're standalone TCP/UDP network terminals (fingerprint or face) reachable over WiFi — no extra hardware or cloud gateway required. See the Supported Devices section on the product page.
Does payroll require a separate license?
The attendance, scheduling, and reporting features are included with the app. The payroll module (turning attendance into payslips) is unlocked with a separate one-time license key.
How do updates work?
The app checks for new versions automatically, verifies the downloaded file's checksum before installing, and never installs a build that fails verification.
